Located in the heart of Northern California, the Fresno Yosemite International Airport, FAT, is just 6 miles from the city of Fresno. The airport is near highway 99 and serves the Central San Joaquin Valley area. There are several domestic airlines and one Mexican airline that serve the Fresno Airport. Parking at Fresno International Airport

Fresno Airport has several different parking options to consider from long term parking to short term parking to cell phone lot parking. Long term parking at FYI has a flat rate of $8 per day. Short term parking is paid based on 20 minute increments for $1 each 20 minutes with a daily maximum charge of $12.

The Cell Phone Waiting Lot, east of the terminal on the north side of the entry road, allows motorists picking up airport passengers to wait in their vehicles until their party has arrived. The Waiting area has 12 parking spaces available and is open 24 hours a day. The maximum wait time in the lot is 60 minutes and the motorist must remain with the vehicle at all times.

Another option when airport parking is needed at Fresno Yosemite International is to park at an off-site parking lot. Several hotels in the area have park and fly packages for their customers. If you have an early flight you might consider making a reservation at an airport hotel and for a one night stay receive up to two weeks of free parking in the hotel parking lot. These hotels supply a shuttle service to and from the airport. There are also several off-site parking lots where you can pay a discounted price for long term parking. These lots have shuttles which operate from the parking facility to the airport terminals. Some off-site lots have covered parking and some do not so if you are concerned about your vehicle being exposed to the elements be sure to do your research ahead of time.
